This year’s lineup offers Armenian films in commemoration of the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, as well as “Love is the Highest Law” on LGBT rights in Russia (on March 20). The festival’s timely and socially engaging selection offers World and U.S. premieres, in addition to a slate of tributes and industry panels. This year’s lineup of 54 films from 33 countries opens with Come to my Voice, at CUNY Graduate Center, Proshansky Auditorium March 16, at 7pm.
